Public Engagement Opportunity # 1 - The project team hosted the first public engagement opportunity for the Town of Palmyra on May 19, 2022, at the Palmyra Community Center. Approximately 15 people were in attendance and included members of the town council, town staff, regional organizations, and residents. Participants were asked to provide feedback at various stations in order to identify opportunities, challenges, and big ideas for the town’s future. For those unable to attend the in-person meeting, an online survey was made available and advertised through the town’s website, social media, and handouts. In addition to the meeting and online survey, community members shared feedback via the town Facebook group. These comments were added to this meeting summary.

Public Engagement Opportunity #2 - The project team hosted the second public engagement opportunity for the Town of Palmyra on September 23, 2022, at the Pal Wow Festival at Buffalo Trace Park. Approximately 15 people participate in the feedback exercises or talked with a member of the project team. Participants were asked to provide feedback on the draft vision and big ideas for the future. For those unable to attend the in-person meeting, an online survey was made available and advertised through the project website, social media, and handouts. These comments were added to the meeting summary.

Public Engagement Opportunity # 3 - On February 8, 2023, the project team hosted the third public engagement opportunity at the Palmyra Community Center. Five people stopped by the review the draft recommendations and share their input on the top priorities for the future. For those unable to attend the in-person meeting, an online survey was made available and advertised through the town’s website, social media, and handouts.
