Public Engagement Opportunity #1 - The project team hosted the first public engagement opportunity for the Town of New Middletown on January 18 at the Town Hall.  Nearly 30 people stopped by the community block party to help the project team identify opportunities, challenges, and big ideas for the future. Jimmy Johns sandwiches and bottled waters were provided to participates. For individuals that weren’t able to make it to the party, an online survey is available. Both the meeting and online survey was advertised through social media and the school newsletter.

Public Engagement Opportunity #2 - The project team hosted the second public engagement opportunity for the Town of New Middletown on March 24 at the Town Hall.  Four people stopped by the open house to help the project team review the draft vision statement, goal statements, and big ideas of the plan. For individuals that weren’t able to make it to the meeting, an online survey is available. Both the meeting and online survey were advertised through social media and the website advertisements.

Public Engagement Opportunity #3 - The project team hosted the third public engagement opportunity for the Town of New Middletown on October 6 at the Town Hall. Nearly 20 people stopped by the public open house to review the draft plan recommendations which included ten catalyst initiatives. For people that weren’t able to attend, an online survey is available through the month of October. Both the meeting and online survey was advertised through social media.
